How we handle the data of people visiting deweave.com: no cookies, no profiling, nothing passed on to third parties.

Visit statistics
The site uses Umami, analytics software installed on a server run directly by the controller, to count visits to deweave.com in aggregate form. It uses no cookies, advertising identifiers, persistent fingerprints or cross-site tracking.
The following may be collected: page visited, date and time, referrer, UTM parameters, approximate country, language, browser, operating system, device type, screen size and explicit events such as switching language, clicking the email address and opening project websites.
The IP address and user agent are processed by the server to derive this technical data and an anonymous session; the IP address is not stored in the analytics database. The session does not reveal who the visitor is and is not linked to any other data.
Server logs
Like any website, the server records incoming requests (IP address, page, date and time, browser) for security and to fix technical problems. These logs are not used for statistics or profiling and are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
Language preference
Visitors who choose the English version get it again on their next visit: the browser stores the choice (localStorage, key deweave-language). It stays on the device, is never sent to the server and is removed by clearing the site’s data in the browser.
Writing to info@deweave.com shares your address and the content of your message with us; we use them only to reply and, if it comes to that, to start working together. Email is hosted by Migadu (Switzerland, a country covered by a European Commission adequacy decision).
No third-party services
Fonts, images and scripts come from the controller’s own servers: the pages do not contact Google Fonts, social networks or advertising platforms.
Purpose and legal basis
Statistics and logs are used only to understand which content is useful, keep the site secure and improve it, based on the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails are processed to answer requests and for any pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention and recipients
Analytics data is kept for as long as the site and the service are active, so that historical series stay comparable, and is deleted when the service is retired or the data is no longer needed. It stays on a server in the European Union run by the controller and is never sold, shared with advertising platforms or used for automated decisions. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any work that follows.
Your rights
You can ask for information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction or object to processing by writing to info@deweave.com. Since the statistics contain no stable personal identifier, it may not be technically possible to link them to a specific person. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
